In addition to the already-renowned authors we recently mentioned, there’s a new title on the shelves from Julie Powell ‘95. Powell’s book, Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen, chronicles her year-long project to cook every recipe in Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking (1961). The book sprung from Powell’s blog, and has drawn plenty of attention: reviews appeared today in Salon, the New York Times, the Indianapolis Star, the Delaware News Journal, and USA Today.
